People in 2020 be like...

"STOP THE WORLD! I WANNA GET OFF!" 

So I built you a nice little haven away from the drama, where the stats and conspiracies can't touch you.

I'm immune. Not just to coronavirus (looks like I've done a month of battle with that little demon, and I'm emerging triumphant) but to the MIND VIRUS that came along with it: the idea that we're all at the mercy of it. 

We're not. 

So, between the fevers and coughing fits, I built a home for Happy Hermits. A Happy Hermitage.

The fact that we 'have to' quarantine is of no consequence to us. It is simply an excuse to congregate, generate wisdom, and alchemise the heck out of this mess. 

Happy Hermitage (including The Hermitage Hut, our very own drama free social network, free from trending topics and news) is the place to share your triumphs, home brewing experiments, poems, recipes, knitting patterns, DIY successes, and transformational stories. It's also the place to learn.

I'm pretty sure the virus fever has subsided, but maybe I'm not quite in my right mind...

It's very possible that this is the result of fever-induced insanity, so I recommend taking advantage of it before I come back to my senses and close the doors on this thing.

But, you know what? I'm alive right now and so are you. There's not much under our control right now, but two things are: how much we share our wisdom and how much we share our hearts. I want to share both with you, and just trust that you'll be touched enough by the generosity of this offer that you'll have an open enough heart to share this page with others so, together, we can build a community to support and care about each other through this time. One of the first Twitter Lists ever made was called 'Serendipity'. I was on the testing team for Lists, and I believe it was the first list I was put on. The guy who put me on that list worked with one of the most famous people on Twitter at the time, and we had a conversation about the meaning of the name. He said he always met the coolest people through serendipity, so he wanted to note the cool people he'd met through this serendipitous event. 

The fact that you are on this page right now is a serendipitous event.

Remember the last big global pandemic? Swine Flu? Seems so tame now, huh? Well, I was scared at the time so I Googled it. 

On the first page, I saw a bunch of stats, but I also saw a blog post by a guy who was right in the centre of the pandemic. I clicked that, because I was curious. He was making content, training people who wanted to run online businesses, sharing mindset, because if he was stuck in that situation it didn't get to define him.

I loved that. I decided to do the same. Through videos on his site I found other people doing the same, and I followed my nose to their training, courses, and communities. 

From there, I ended up becoming a full-time work-from-home boss, answerable to nothing but my intuition and inner drive to create something greater than myself, for the benefit of others.

You will always remember these words, and if you lose the page and can no longer find it, you'll never forgive yourself... so... keep reading. What else do you have to do?
